As more organizations turn to social media platforms in order to market themselves, print shops in New Jersey may wish to take similar action and advertise themselves to firms looking to order bound documents and other promotional material.
Adam Dewitz, in a post for What They Think, explains print services providers need to take care to develop a marketing campaign which best meets their needs and is most effective for securing new custom.
He warns: "When you're ready to explore social media campaigns for your business you don't need to jump on Twitter and start offering free business cards."
Instead, he advises spending some time analyzing what customers and competitors are doing on social networks, noting that it is best to begin by targeting one or two sites.
Social media may also work to better effect when combined with a direct marketing campaign.
And a recent study by Data Talk, noted in Print Week, revealed the same could be true of television advertising, which can increase the response to a direct marketing scheme by 143 percent.
Print shops in New Jersey may also find they can point out the benefits of such combined campaigns when advising customers looking to order bound documents.
