The services of print centers in Massachusetts are allowing one group to encourage pre-retirees to plan for their long-term care.
Old Colony Elder Services, based in Brockton, has chosen to print brochures covering some of the main aspects of elderly care, in order to help people approaching retirement to decide how they will spend their later years.
Diana DiGiorgi, executive director of the group, says: "Planning ahead is the best way to ensure that your future needs will be met and that you will have the resources to pay for those needs."
In light of this, the group took the decision to print brochures detailing the different care options available, how much these can cost and the kinds of stress - both financial and emotional - that they can place on families.
The group also uses the services of print centers in Massachusetts to print brochures advertising its own support programs and produces a monthly newsletter with coverage given to developments in local healthcare.
